Principal Broker Chip Brown brings to his clients over 30 years of commercial real estate experience with expertise in investment sales, leasing, capital markets, and asset management/repositioning. Over his career, Mr. Brown has sourced, negotiated, and closed commercial real estate transactions totaling in excess of $2 billion in value. These include individual transactions of all major property types, with deal sizes ranging from under $400,000 to over $400 million.
Prior to moving to the Upper Valley, Mr. Brown spent many years in commercial real estate finance, with his last role as Head of U.S. Production, Senior Vice President, and Credit Committee Member at CW Capital, then owned by Canadian pension find advisor CDP/"The Caisse". This followed progressive roles in GMACCM/CII, Lehman Brothers, and The Georgetown Company.
Mr. Brown is a long-standing member of The City of Lebanon's Economic Development Commission, Board Member of the Lebanon Opera House, member of the Upper Valley Business Association (UVBA), New Hampshire Commercial Investment Board of Realtors (NHCIBOR), and past 7-year member of the Hanover Affordable Housing Commission. Annual supporter of the Montshire Museum and the Howe Library.
Mr. Brown holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development of Columbia University, graduating with honors for his thesis work. Mr. Brown holds a BA in Architecture from Hampshire College. Mr. Brown was honored to serve as Student Trustee of Buildings & Grounds while at Hampshire College.
